World Cup stays in Sweden. Not so long way from Ulricehamn to Falun, it's only a. 400 km between arenas.

Some facts: 

o Falun courses use major parts of the old course system in a creative way
o Multiple permanent overpasses ensure that spectators can avoid to cross the tracks in most parts of the areas.
o “Mördarbacken” – Faluns signature hill is well known in the Cross Country community. Before the WSC 2015 the course system was changed and developed and we now have the large and small “Mördarbacken”. For our competitions 2017 the small will be used.
o Calle Halfvarsson, Jennie Oberg, Hanna Falk, Linn Sömskar, and Simon Andersson are some of the skiers who live in Falun.
o Falun is not only hometown of successful skiers, we have our new Olympic Gold medalist Jenny Rissveds (mountain biking) who lives in Falun and also Susanne Kallur, well-known for her long track and field career (Hurdle)

Program / Ohjelma 

On Saturday will be sprint with free style and on Sunday continues long distance (C) 30 km / 15 km.

Lauantaina hiihdetään sprintti vapaalla tyylillä ja sunnuntaina jatketaan perinteisen tyylin pitkän matkan 30 km / 15 km yhteislähtökilpailulla.
