Vuoden vaihtuessa on vuorossa jälleen kymmenvuotista juhlavuottaan viettävä Tour de Ski -kiertue Sveitsin, Baijerin ja Tirolin lumilla. Monelle hiihtäjälle TdS on nyt tärkeämmässä roolissa, koska tänä vuonna ei ole vuorossa arvokisoja.

Ajankohta on hieman vuodenvaihteen jälkeen ja vielä on (on 26th Dec 2015) epäselvää, saadaanko lumetettua Oberstdorfin ladut, sillä järjestäjien mukaan tarvittaisiin pari pakkaspäivää ja  noin 10 000 m3 tykkilunta 2,5 kilometrin ladun tekemiseen. Tilannetta voi seurata FIS-SKI:n tai Tour de Skin sivuilta. Toivottavasti pakkanen vierailee seudulla ja lunta saadaan tehtyä latuja varten. Linkki 10 päivän ennusteeseen on tässä.
Tilanne 27.12.2015, Obertsdorfin osakilpailu hiihdetään muutetulla ohjelmalla. Katso ohjelma alempana.

Lenzerheide 1.-3.1.2016
• The sprint course will approximately stay the same. Due to the new disciplines and distances
the course of the long distance races will be changed.
• New technical equipment: temperature-independent snow production
• Lenzerheide is the 2nd time a Tour de Ski stage, this year with 3 competition days
• Lenzerheide is the start stage of the 10th anniversary of the Tour de Ski.

• 39th Pusteria/Pustertal Valley Ski Marathon
An exciting cross-country skiing weekend awaits you on 9th January 2016 in the Alta
Pusteria/Hochpustertal valley. With ist long tradition, the Pusteria / Pustertal valley ski
marathon is one of the most renowned cross-country races in Europe, becoming more and
more popular each year with both professional and amateur athletes. There will be a
classical race with 60 km from Braies / Prags to Sesto/Sexten. It will be the longest
Marathon in South Tyrol!
• 39th Cross-country skiing race “Dobbiaco-Cortina SKI CLASSICS”
On 13th and 14th of February 2016 will start the 39th Cross-country skiing race from
Dobbiaco to Cortina. The CLASSIC race will be extended to 50km and is now part of the
“Long Distance Ski Championship” Ski Classics. The Classic race will be on Saturday,

13th February, while the race in free technique takes place on Sunday, 14th February 2016!
