Weekend in Otepää didn't get many spectators,but in Ulricehamn last time in 2017 there were 60,000 spectators visiting the arena over two days and cheered on the athletes. Ulricehamn is hosting the World Cup for the second time.
· Venue is Lassalyckan located in the small town of Ulricehamn.
· At Lassalyckan, there are ski trails to suit all types of skiers - from the elite to families with
children.
· Venue Lassalyckan is a local sport centre with 20 different sports both winter and summer.
· A modern system for snowmaking and lightning.
· Swedish National team local riders Hanna Falk and Viktor Thorn (develop team) represent
the local ski club Ulricehamn IF.
· The venue is approved as a Vasaloppet center, the first located in southern Sweden.
How strong are swedish in their own arena?
Swedish ladies have had excellent performance during the World Cup.

FIS Otepää (EST) 17.-18.1.2019
It's time for classic again. After couple competition in Tour de Ski it's Classic weekend.
The third period of season will continue in Otepää Estonia. Tehvandi Ski Stadium is situated in Otepää approximately 225 km from Tallinn, the Capital of Estonia and 42 km from Tartu, the second largest city in Estonia.
A small town nestled in southern Estonian hills and valleys, Otepää is a well-known winter holiday destination for all those who love the snow. Otepää is the heart of the touristic area surrounding it and the best known center of winter sports in the Baltic States.
The Tehvandi Sport Center, where the FIS Cross-Country World Cup weekend is held, is recognized as a training area all year round among high level sportsmen. The wellkept cross-country ski tracks certified by FIS, ski stadium complex, shooting range for biathlonists, K90 ski jump hill, and smaller ski hills offer opportunities for serious training.

The team hotel, media facilities and venue are all located within 5min walking.
In summer, the venue hosts big concerts with up to 12.000 spectators and open air movies
The week after the World Cup, the stadium will host events for schools, a biathlon event, youth
athletes as well as Para Nordic athletes.
