Tour round the Alps is calling again. After short Christmas holiday skiers are heading first to Val Müstair in Swizerland. The New Year is celebrated there with two competitions. After that is Oberstdorf in order also with two starts. On 6th January trucks and skiers are in Toblach Italy.
The last competitions will be in Val di Fiemme.

It seems, that some skiers have not started in after Ruka and are waiting for TdS. They are following pre-competition training before Lahti WSC or might have been sick.
Alppien kiertue kutsuu hiihtäjiä jälleen. Lyhyen joululoman jälkeen hiihtäjät suuntaavat ensin Val Müstairiin Sveitsiin. Uusi vuosi vaihtuu siellä kahden kisan merkeissä. Sen jälkeen matka jatkuu vuorostaan Oberstdorfiin Saksaan, jossa on myös kaksi starttia. Loppiaisena rekat ja hiihtäjät ovat Toblachissa Italian puolella. Viimeiset kiertueen kisat ovat perinteisesti Val di Fiemmessä.
Tänä vuonna näyttää siltä, että osa hiihtäjistä on jättänyt kilpailuja väliin ennen Touria ja osa ilmeisesti taas Tour de Skin kilpailuja. Kuntoa rakennetaan Lahden MM-kilpailuihn ja kunkin valmistautuminen ja sairastelut sanelevat osallistumisia,
